Boulder, CO (05/02/11) – Sunflower Farmers Market, the rapidly expanding, value-priced natural and organic grocer known for “serious food at silly prices,” announced the launch of an all-new, enhanced consumer website today at www.sunflowermarkets.com. With easy-to-use interactive tools for shoppers and menu planners, the new website makes everything from creating shopping lists to planning dinner effortless.
The updated Sunflower Farmers Market website has been redesigned to make it even easier for customers to find what they want…fast. Whether customers are looking for the latest savings at their local store or a delicious recipe for dinner, the website puts all the resources right at their fingertips. Shoppers can view their local sale flyer, search for in-store specials, print out online coupons, and peruse a recipe center with thousands of recipes to plan a grocery list that works within their budget. Menu planners can search for and print out recipes and add ingredients to their online shopping list with a click of their mouse. They can also view a variety of five-minute cooking class videos that walk them through food preparation and more.
“Just as our stores are designed to be comfortable to navigate, with easy-to-find products and friendly, helpful service, our updated website is designed with features to make grocery shopping and menu planning less of a chore…and more of an efficient and enjoyable experience,” said Steve Black, VP of Marketing and I.T. for Sunflower Farmers Market. “The website is just one more way we’re striving to serve the needs of value-conscious shoppers who are searching for affordable, high-quality natural and organic groceries.”
Black also states, “I’m proud to offer a patented feature on the shopping lists that allows you the ability to also select flavors when you select an item to add to your list. In addition to all this, we will also have an iPhone app and a Droid app launching within the next couple of weeks.”
The updated website follows closely on the heels of a logo and private label redesign by Sunflower Farmers Market. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past eight years, and their signature look is growing along with the stores. With 33 locations already in operation in six Southwestern states, Sunflower intends to expand into two new states this year, California in May and Oklahoma in September.
