Representatives from fourteen grocery/supermarket chains across the U.S. gathered at the Applied Data Corporation’s (ADC) 10th annual ReFresh Conference this month in Clearwater Beach, Fla. The attendees discussed and shared strategies on implementing ADC’s InterStore.Net Fresh Item Management (FIM) software.
At the conference, ADC officials unveiled the company’s new product and suite logos as well as demonstrated the latest InterStore.Net version 6.4 software suite, highlighting new features designed to improve the user experience, including easier-to-navigate screens and enhanced reporting for corporate and in-store users.
Based on the feedback from the Tampa-based company’s Retail Advisory Board (RAB), the conference included presentations from retailers about how each is using FIM in their store, including Brookshire Grocery Company, Associate Food Stores and a tier one grocery chain with more than 2,500 stores.
“We consider ReFresh our annual user group, but have expanded the event to also include prospective clients. This is an ideal time to brainstorm and strategize new ways to implement FIM,” said Steve Loveridge, President of ADC. “No one at ReFresh is a stranger. We want you to ask each attendee how his or her company is handling FIM in their stores.”
Dates and location for next year’s ReFresh in Q4 2012 will be announced by the end of 2011. ADC is a provider of fresh item, recipe management and scales management software to the grocery retail and food service industry.
