New Supermarket Association of Japan (NSAJ) is expecting its 2012 Supermarket Trade Show from February 1–3, 2012 in Tokyo to be the biggest yet. More than 1,100 companies, associations and institutions will be exhibiting.
The business-based exhibition for professionals aims to provide the latest information to the retail industry with new and hot products, cost-saving ideas, eco-friendly equipment and display and information systems.
There are overseas exhibitors representing 58 companies from 13 countries with 78 booths, including various products from the United States, Brazil and Poland.
One of the main attractions is the USA Pavilion, that has been endorsed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture FAS Trade Services and the US Agricultural Trade Office, with 25 companies. The pavilion will feature newly introduced wine ice cream, quality olive oil, fresh papaya from Hawaii and cheeses from California.
Other countries represented at the show include France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Korea, China and Taiwan.
