BAKE’N JOY’S LATEST FLAVORS ARE ALL ABOUT CHOCOLATE. The company is expanding its line of PanFree Predeposited Loaf Cake Batters with Red Velvet Chocolate Chunk and Chocolate Chip. Part of the FreshBakes line of predeposited muffin, loaf and cake batters, the 18-ounce loaves can go directly on a sheet pan and are free of trans fats.
The Red Velvet Chocolate Chunk is today’s hottest flavor and loaded with sweet chocolate chunks, say officials at the North Andover, Mass.-based company, while the Chocolate Chip loaf features decadent French Vanilla blended with chocolate chips for an upscale take on the standard.

The loaf batters are premeasured and deposited into paper-lined aluminum pans and flash frozen. They come packaged in carrier trays with six per layer, 18 to a case.
