Annie’s is expanding its selection of family-friendly snack options with the introduction of Annie’s Cheddar Squares, a  better-for-you snack alternative for people of all ages. Now available on shelves at retailers nationwide, Annie’s Cheddar Squares are made without artificial flavors, synthetic colors and synthetic preservatives, and contain certified-organic wheat, six grams of whole grains per serving and 100 percent real, rBST-free+ cheese.

“Snacking is on the rise and now accounts for nearly half of all eating in the United States,” says Sarah Bird, chief mom officer for Annie’s. “We also know that cheddar crackers are staples in many cupboards across the country, so Annie’s is excited to introduce a new product that provides both the great taste and the high quality organic and natural ingredients families have come to expect from Annie’s.”

Made with eight grams of whole grains per serving, Annie’s Organic Graham Crackers are appropriate for all ages as an addition to kids’ lunches, an afternoon snack for mom, or paired with marshmallows and chocolate for a scrumptious s’mores treat enjoyed as a family. These new, Non-GMO Project verified products will hit shelves at select retailers nationwide in June, just in time for camping season.

According to a recent Hartman Group study, consumers increasingly desire healthier and higher-quality snack options. Annie’s, a provider of natural and organic alternatives to traditional comfort foods, caters to these consumers with its new Cheddar Squares and Organic Graham Crackers, as well as its other snack offerings, including Fruit Snacks, Snack Mix, Granola Bars, Pretzels and more.
