Adding to their line of all natural frozen foods, Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods is announcing the launch of their Asian Veggie Burgers, which are loaded with recognizable ingredients and trend-forward flavors.
By incorporating water chestnuts, carrots, peas, red peppers, and broccoli along with cilantro, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil, Dr. Praeger’s has created a veggie burger to help consumers conveniently create sensible and flavorful, Asian-inspired burger, stir fry and salad recipes.
The new, Kosher certified Asian Veggie Burgers only have 140 calories per patty, with low saturated fat and no cholesterol or trans fat, as well as no preservatives and artificial flavorings, making it an option for vegans, vegetarians and those looking to add “better-for-you” meal options to their freezers. The burgers have an SRP of $3.99 per box of four, individually wrapped patties, and will begin shipping to retailers nationally this May.
“Our new Asian Veggie Burgers continue our mission to help consumers see wholesome food in a whole new light,” says Larry Praeger, vice president of Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods. “From adding a tasty twist to the veggie burger experience to providing a flavorful meat alternative to stir fry dishes, this product promises to inspire a wide array of healthful meals and snacks.”
Dr. Praeger’s also offers a broad assortment of additional veggie burgers, veggie pancakes and snacks, fish sticks, and an entire line-up just for kids. With no artificial flavors or colors, and low in saturated fat and cholesterol, Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods products appeal to wide range of consumers – from those looking for a sensible meat alternative to those looking for a healthier snack option to those with a gluten intolerance.
