Atalanta Corporation Acquires H&J Trading Company

The Atalanta Corporation, a leading importer of food products from around the world, is pleased to announce the acquisition of H&J Trading Company including their Maria Brand, a leading brand of artichokes, capers, peppers and other grocery items. This transaction will create enhanced synergy within the important foodservice and retail grocery sectors between Atalanta and Maria Brand owners John Wollenweber and Hardy Brunette, who will remain with the newly formed organization.

By expanding their national presence through the Atalanta sales force and marketing ventures, Maria Brand will enjoy continued success.
