STATER BROS. CHARITIES LOGOEach year during the month of June, Stater Bros’. customers at all 166 Stater Bros. Supermarkets can purchase $1 paper balloons at the time of checkout to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. For six years now, Stater Bros. customers and employees have raised more than $1.8 million. “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is extremely grateful to Stater Bros., its employees and customers who are helping to make a difference in the lives of so many patients and their families through this initiative,” says John Walter, LLS president and CEO.  “Stater Bros. has raised more than $1.8 million since they started participating in the paper balloon icon program, and that incredible effort is going a long way toward helping LLS advance its mission.”

“The Stater Bros. Supermarket Family is very happy to give back by hosting the paper balloon program in all our stores,” adds Jack H. Brown, chairman and chief executive officer of Stater Bros. Markets.  “It is imperative that we join in the fight to find a cure.”

In addition to the campaign, Stater Bros.
