Mango Board Hosts Ripening Program Webinar for Retailers

The National Mango Board (NMB) in conjunction with the University of California, Davis (Department of Plant Science) and the University of Florida (IFAS Center for Food Distribution and Retailing) will be hosting another free Mango Temperature Management and Ripening Program Webinar on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at 4 p.m. Eastern time.

This free webinar will provide an overview of the NMB’s Ripe Ready to Eat Mango program initiative by Wendy McManus (NMB), store audits and distribution center visits by Dennis Kihlstadius (Produce Technical Services), temperature management at warehouses and stores by Dr. Jeffrey Brecht (University of Florida) and consumer acceptance for mangos by Dr. Carlos Crisosto (University of California, Davis).
