Starbucks lovers no longer need to wait on long lines to get an iced espresso fix. The brand has launched a line of iced espresso beverages called Discoveries Iced Café Favorites for retail. Made with 100% Arabica beans, 2% milk and natural flavors, the beverages contain 120 calories per 8-ounce serving.
Three varieties are available currently: Caramel Macchiato, made with caramel flavor, espresso and milk; Caffe Mocha, a blend of cocoa, espresso and milk; and Vanilla Latte, blend of vanilla flavor, espresso and milk. They have a suggested retail price of $4.99 (varies by market).
“We’re excited to launch a new line of delicious Starbucks beverages crafted just for home,” says Dan Brenner, vice president of brand alliances for Starbucks Coffee Company. “Starbucks Discoveries Iced Café Favorites are inspired by some of our most popular café beverages, such as caramel macchiato, café mocha and vanilla latte and offer our customers the perfect way to enjoy their favorite Starbucks iced espresso beverages in a new convenient multi-serve package.”
