Produce Marketing Association (PMA) is proud to have been selected as one of The News Journal Top Workplaces.
The News Journal, an online publication serving the state of Delaware, recently recognized 45 Delaware-based companies and organizations as Top Workplaces 2013. The honor is determined solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
Among the comments from PMA staff surfacing in the survey were: “Everyone has a passion for what we do and knows how to get great things done,” and “This is the most productive, well-organized company I have ever worked. Everyone here works as a team, and we do that because of the way we are treated as individuals.”
PMA staff ranked the association highly in survey areas such as company values, execution, leadership and culture. The survey also revealed a positive assessment of day-to-day aspects such as managers, pay, training and work/life balance in addition to employee engagement issues such as motivation, wanting to stay at the organization and recommending working at the association to others.
“Everyone is delighted to be honored as a terrific place to work and to be recognized among leading businesses in our home state of Delaware,” says Bryan Silbermann, PMA president and CEO. “PMA works hard to provide a positive work environment because we know that without dedicated, talented and thoughtful people, we cannot be the association we aspire to be for our members.”
