Marvel Entertainment and Crunch Pak are launching a new assortment of products featuring Marvel Super Heroes. Coming in 2014, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel’s The Avengers will be featured on packages of fresh sliced apples to bring fun to snack time while promoting healthy habits.
“The Marvel Super Heroes represent an active lifestyle as they embody aspirational attributes like responsibility and discipline. Being able to pair our exciting characters with fresh produce is a natural fit and we are confident these new products will be a hit with kids and families,” says Michael Jerchower, director of licensing for Marvel.
This new relationship between Marvel and Crunch Pak enables them to reach boys ages 6-10 years old, who need better product choices in the healthy snacks category.

We want to encourage kids of all ages to increase consumption of fruits and vegetables. This wide array of well- known and much loved characters will deliver excitement at the store level for Crunch Pak.”
Crunch Pak will create custom designed packages for Marvel characters, with the first packages shipping in the first quarter of 2014.
Crunch Pak has multiple relationships in the entertainment field and its snacks are served backstage at industry award shows such as the Academy Awards, the Kids Choice Awards, the Country Music Award and the Miss America Pageant.
