Pastry Smart LLC, announced the nationwide release of Le Culture Organic Handcrafted Artisan Bread Collection, available in leading distribution centers across the United States. Produced by Pastry Smart, Le Culture organic and American Humane Certified breads use a custom patented bake-able bread bag, allowing retail grocery stores and bakeries to offer a certified organic product to their customers.
“KeHE recognizes Pastry Smart as innovators in the world of bakery. Pastry Smart continues to impress us with their creative and cutting-edge organic products made with the highest quality ingredients. We value our close relationship with this esteemed brand and look forward to working together to advance the baking category,” says Bob Johnston, bakery category director, KeHE Distributors.
Unique ‘Bake-able Bread Bag’ Maintains Organic Integrity
Using an innovative, patented process, the ‘bake-able bread bag’ enables the retailer to keep the organic chain of custody intact, by baking the bread in a custom designed bag, company officials say. With a perforated inner lining, allowing for ventilation, the bag is self-sealing heat activated in the oven during baking. These features allow for the bread to maintain freshness and a longer shelf life of up to four days.
Organic, Humane, Artisan Breads Fresh Daily, In-Store
Le Culture provides retailers, restaurants and foodservice outlets with a selection of 13 different organic, American Humane Certified artisan breads. Available through distributors such as KeHE, Tony’s Fine Foods, Bi-Rite Foodservice Distributors, Greenleaf Produce, and LA & SF Specialty, retailers across the United States, regardless of whether or not they have an organic certified bakery, are now able to offer organic to their customers, in-store, fresh daily.
“Le Culture is good for people and good for animals. When you buy Le Culture breads, you’re buying from a brand that is completely sustainable from the beginning of the food chain,” says Mark Ainsworth, president and founder of Pastry Smart.
