Campbell’s Chunky Soup - Mama’s Boy

To kick off the NFL season, Campbell’s Chunky soup is celebrating its newest Mama’s Boy – NFL cornerback Richard Sherman – by creating a statue lined with Campbell’s Chunky soup cans and labels. The structure will commemorate Sherman’s iconic defensive play during the 2014 NFC Championship, which helped punch Seattle’s ticket to Super Bowl XLVIII. Seahawks fans can see the statue and enjoy FREE Campbell’s Chunky soup samples at Touchdown City outside CenturyLink Field today.

Crunch Pak

Employees at Crunch Pak showed their support for their favorite team today when the entire company of more than 500 staff donned 12th Man t-shirts; the company temporarily suspended operations to take the photo to celebrate their product being served to halftime performers at the Big Game.

RPE and Tasteful Selections donated 20,000 pounds of Idaho russet potatoes to the Yolo Food Bank on Nov. 6. After an event in West Sacramento last month, Tasteful Selections wanted to give back to a great area that was so good to them during their event.

Dos Equis LA Masquerade Event

On October 16 in Los Angeles, The Most Interesting Man in the World and over 2,000 of his biggest fans donned costumes and masks to celebrate this year’s Masquerade program Dos Equis style. The event, hosted by LA based Love Hope Strength Foundation and sponsored by Dos Equis, presented revelers with an evening of mystery, intrigue, ice cold Dos Equis and entertainment by renowned Trap DJ, Flosstradamus.

ABSOLUT Stuga Rocks Kansas City

ABSOLUT Stuga continued its travels across the U.S. making a stop in Kansas City, Missouri on August 26. Developed in the style and tradition of ABSOLUT's homeland Sweden, ABSOLUT Stuga is a mobile tour designed to educate, entertain and engage local bartenders and mixologists with the brand and its heritage. Attendees from an array of Kansas City's top restaurants and bars were joined by hosts Chris Patino, director of brand education, and Jamie Gordon, national mixologist, both of Pernod Ricard USA, where they enjoyed a farm-to-table community style dinner—inspired by the Swedish summertime tradition of Kraftskiva—consisting of a classic Kansas City meal of fried chicken, pork shoulder and an array of sides. The night was paired with signature cocktails created by the Bon Vivants and local bartender, Ryan Maybee. Local Kansas City cover band, Patrick Lentz, entertained the crowd and kept them dancing all night.

Black Gold Farms Food Blogger Tour

Black Gold Farms recently hosted five national food bloggers on their farm in Arbyrd, Mo., to provide a first-hand look at the process of growing and shipping fresh potatoes. The bloggers created nearly 1 million impressions on social media channels with their real-time postings about learning the differences between potato varieties, walking the fields, seeing a harvester in action and seeing inside a packing facility.

ABSOLUT Stuga event, San Francisco

ABSOLUT VODKA unveiled its popular ABSOLUT Stuga event in San Francisco and San Diego on August 18 and August 20 respectively. Developed in the style and tradition of ABSOLUT's homeland Sweden, ABSOLUT Stuga is a mobile tour designed to educate, entertain and engage local bartenders and mixologists with the brand and its heritage. An intimate guest list of 50 local VIPs were treated to an exclusive ABSOLUT Stuga space transformed to include live music, dancing and Kubb, a classic Swedish Yard game. Guests were served a family-style dinner highlighting a local chef complemented by delicious craft cocktails made with ABSOLUT VODKA.

Dulcich & Sons Harvest Hobgoblin Halloween Grapes

Dulcich & Sons have announced a Harvest Hobgoblin Halloween Grapes merchandising program. It includes a freestanding bin, free Hobgoblin Shelf Danglers and Hobgoblin Colander Bags, available for a small up charge. This bag design acts as a disposable colander, an easy and effective way to rinse and store the grapes for the consumer, while at the same time being less expensive than some other counterparts now available in the industry for the retailer.

Peppadew Fresh Farms

Working with Farmers Against Hunger (FAH), Peppadew Fresh Farms, based in Morganville N.J. (the Educational center for Peppadew Fruit) made its first donation on crops grown specifically for the Group. The donation went to Open Door of Freehold, and included Peppadew Goldew, Eggplant, Hot Peppers, Bell Peppers, Basil and Tomatoes.

DOLE Salad Fans Show Off Their Salad’tude

Eight lucky salad fans enjoyed a unique culinary adventure at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley in late June as the winners of a Salad’tude promotion sponsored by Dole Fresh Vegetables of Monterey, Calif. For their winning interpretation of Salad’tude and use of DOLE Salads blends and all-natural kits, the eight were treated to three days of culinary classes, competitions and excursions with “The Chew” host Clinton Kelly. Sustainability Pays Off

Stemilt Growers

Pear harvest is starting to wind down in Washington state, with orchard crews working hard to get the last pears off the tree this week and next. This photo shows D’Anjou pears at harvest on October 4th at Riverstone Orchards near Leavenworth, WA. The quality of the 2012-13 pear crop is excellent with large sizing and great fruit finish.

With more than 140 attendees at the picnic, Frieda Caplan was proud to see how the company she founded in 1962 has grown. “What a joy it is to see everyone come together to celebrate an incredible 50 years,” says Frieda Caplan. “In a successful fresh produce company, employees work early hours and give their best all of the time. It was very important to us to meet all our employees’ families and thank them for supporting their loved ones who have dedicated themselves to Frieda’s, Inc.”

Keoni Chang of Foodland Super Markets, Ltd. in Honolulu won the title of Grand Chef for the Food Marketing Institute’s (FMI) Supermarket Chef Showdown. Chang enticed the judges with his mouthwatering dish, Deconstructed Ahi California Roll, from the Indulgent recipe category.

Westside Market

Westside Market NYC celebrated the opening of their fourth location yesterday at 97th and Broadway. George Zoitas, the market’s 30-year-old CEO, was joined by his family and the 130 new employees to officially open the store. Customers enjoyed samples of Westside Market NYC’s extensive line of prepared food, “Maria’s Homemade,” along with giveaways of branded t-shirts and reusable recycled bags. Hon. George Maragos, Nassau County Comptroller, joined Westside Market NYC in the celebration and presented George with a certificate noting the contributions and enhancements that the business has made to the community and its residents over the past 47 years. Westside Market NYC was founded in 1965 by George’s father, John Zoitas.

Shop Rite Honors First Responders

Giant 75 Anniversary

Giant 75 Anniversary
