Sanders New “Orchard Collection” Aims to Offer Sweet Snackers A Healthy Option

Sanders new Orchard Collection is targeting consumers looking to make healthier choices even when snacking on sweets, company officials say.  When compared to leading market place brands their new Fruit & Snack Dips and Fruit and Granola Chocolate Clusters, both part of the Orchard Collection, “offer better ingredients and healthier inclusions,” officials add.

Fruit_Dip_Glamour_ShotFruit & Snack Dip:  Available in a 15-ounce tub or 2-ounce individual serving size cup, Sanders dips come in three flavors: Caramel, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. They are microwave-safe, gluten-free and contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives; no high fructose corn syrup, trans fats or hydrogenated oils. Individual serving size cups were designed meet the demand for portion control and on-the-go snacking. Vice president Karen Jefferson says, “Our fruit and snack dip allows a health conscious consumer to continue making better choices even when snacking on sweets. This product category we felt lacked options with better ingredients. We are happy to be providing an option comparable in price with better ingredients and most importantly great taste.” Sanders created this collections’ recipes based on their experience cooking gourmet dessert toppings. The 15-ounce tubs, 2-ounce six-count individual cup packs and 36-count club cases will debut at the Winter Fancy Food Show and be available for shipping in February 2014.

Fruit & Granola Chocolate Clusters: Sanders 6-ounce resealable bags offer four different flavors in either premium milk or dark chocolate with crunchy granola, crisped rice and real fruit pieces. The different varieties are Dark Blueberry, Milk Orange Mango, Dark Cherry and Milk Lemon Ginger. Chocolate is part of many consumers everyday sweet snack choice, but with Sanders Fruit & Granola Clusters they can stay committed to making healthier choices, company officials say. These choices come in the form of granola that helps snackers feel satiated quickly, fruit pieces offering sweet flavors and premium chocolate. These clusters do not contain any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives; no high fructose corn syrup, trans fats or hydrogenated oils. Fruit & Granola Chocolate Clusters will debut at the Winter Fancy Food Show and will be available to ship June 2014. Preorders will be taken first and second quarter of 2014.
