This holiday season, eight of New York’s top chefs will be showcasing their culinary “chops,” featuring their best Australian Lamb dishes on their winter menus in the first annual Winter Wonderlamb competition.
One of the eight finalists will win a ten-day trip to Australia, to visit the continent’s beef and lamb production regions, plus a visit to Sydney to experience Australia’s multi-cultural dining scene.What’s more Facebook fans (New Yorkers included) also have a chance to win a three-day trip for two to New York, just by voting for the Fan Favorite, including airfare, hotel, two fabulous dinners, a tour of the city, plus $150 in spending money. And because New York locals get eight delicious ways to enjoy Australian Lamb this month, everyone wins.
A panel of judges, comprised of food editors and experts, will secretly visit the following restaurants to select a Grand Prize winner. Dishes will be posted online for public voting to determine the “Fan Favorite” winner, who will receive a prize of $500.
