Starbucks Offers More Energy Options

Starbucks Coffee Co. is expanding its energizing drink options with a Blueberry Acai. The flavor joins the company's line of ready-to-drink Refreshers beverages that offer "revitalizing energy with no spike or crash," say company officials. The Blueberry Acai joins Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry Pomegranate flavors. The drinks are made with real fruit juice, B vitamins, ginseng and caffeine made from green coffee bean extract, and have only 90 calories per can. Described as "slightly sparkling," the drinks are sold in 4-packs of 8.4-ounce cans with a suggested retail price of $5.99. Starbucks has also expanded its organic tea offerings. Tazo Tea, a division of Starbucks, now includes Organic Earl Grey Blanc, Organic Earl Grey Noir and Organic Sultry Strawberry. The three flavors, are available at Whole Food with a suggested retail price of $5.49.
