Lifestyle Foods Revamps Line of Grab-and-Go Sandwiches

LSF_Sandwich4Lifestyle Foods has revised its successful line of healthy grab-and-go sandwiches, with the introduction of seven new varieties available this September.

Initially launched last year, the line extension will include: Buffalo Grilled Chicken, Caesar Grilled Chicken, Malibu Turkey Avocado, New England Cranberry Turkey, Tuscan Ham with Tomato Pesto, Classic Ham and Cheese and Sedona Vegetarian Chick’n. Each sandwich comes on grain-topped thin whole-wheat ciabatta bread and is paired with premium dressings such as Sundried Tomato Pesto, Buffalo Ranch, Avocado spread and more. The sandwiches range between 270-360 calories, an average reduction in calories of 15% compared to the initial launch, say company officials, in addition to overall reductions in sodium and cholesterol.

“We have rethought our sandwiches to make them even more appealing to customers with higher quality multigrain bread and new varieties, giving upgraded options to round out our line,” says Jason Bross, founder. “Keeping abreast of trends while ensuring the items have the perfect taste, size, appearance and quality is important to us and we are excited and passionate about our new offering.”

The line-up has an emphasis on high-quality, healthy ingredients that provides a convenient premium alternative to other available options, say company officials. Like other Lifestyle Foods products, the sandwich line utilizes years of experience in innovative packaging. Separate compartments for produce ensures freshness while  a proprietary process extends shelf-life and preserves food quality and safety. In addition to diversifying the product line, the sandwich offerings further position the items as premium alternatives to other available grab-and go-sandwich options.
