Approximately 31 million Americans skip breakfast every day, with young adults (20%) and teens (17%) having the highest rate of missing their morning meal, say Kellogg officials. Kellogg’s is fighting this trend with an on-the-go nutritious breakfast option, Kellogg’s To Go.
Kellogg’s To Go Breakfast Shakes and Breakfast Shake Mixes help deliver the nutrition that consumers want most. According to a recent study, protein (49%) and fiber (54%) are the two most sought after ingredients at breakfast time. Kellogg’s To Go Breakfast Shakes deliver 10 grams of protein and five grams of fiber. Served with one cup of skim milk, they provide 13 grams of protein and five grams of fiber per serving, and are also an excellent source of 17-21 vitamins and minerals including, vitamin C, vitamin E and calcium.
“Adults and teens alike start each morning with an empty tank,” says expert and pediatrician Dr. Laura Jana. “Offering moms and her skippers a grab-and-go breakfast shake that contains an important balance of nutrients including protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals is a practical way to help put an appealing and healthy breakfast well within everyone’s reach.”
Kellogg’s To Go Breakfast Shakes and Breakfast Shake Mixes come in three delicious flavors – milk chocolate, strawberry and vanilla – and are now available at retailers nationwide in the breakfast aisle. Kellogg’s To Go Breakfast Shakes are available for$6.49 per four pack and Kellogg’s To Go Breakfast Shake Mixes come in boxes of six individual mix packets for $4.49.
