To help families who may not have time to prepare nutritious meals from scratch, Laura’s Lean Beef is introducing Laura’s Kitchen, a new line of natural deli meats, soups and entrees. Each Laura’s Kitchen product is made with wholesome ingredients and is produced without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
“We know that today’s consumers want nutritious and easy to prepare meal options in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle,” says Chris Anderson, marketing director. “We developed the Laura’s Kitchen line of products to fill a void in the marketplace for convenience foods that are both delicious and made with natural ingredients.”
Laura’s Kitchen features eight restaurant quality soups, as well as five lean and flavorful deli meats. Each soup, with the exception of the Steak Chili with Red Beans which has a tomato base, starts with beef or chicken stock. Vegetables, lean meats, beans, pastas and other ingredients are incorporated into the recipes for maximum flavor, without unnecessary additives. The Laura’s Kitchen soups come in a variety of flavors including:

The Laura’s Kitchen deli meats are juicy, delicious and seasoned to perfection without unnecessary preservatives, nitrates or artificial ingredients, and with lower sodium amounts than other deli meats, company officials say. The deli meats include:
- Extra Lean Roast Turkey Breast
- Extra Lean Uncured Smoked Ham
- Extra Lean Roast Beef
- Extra Lean Uncured Corned Beef
- Extra Lean Uncured Beef Pastrami
The deli meats were specifically developed to promote a healthier lifestyle and diet. The Extra Lean Roast Turkey Breast, Extra Lean Uncured Smoked Ham and the Extra Lean Roast Beef are all certified by the American Heart Association. In line with the Laura’s Lean Beef philosophy, Laura’s Kitchen deli meats are produced from animals raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
Laura’s Kitchen will also feature entrees familiar to Laura’s Lean Beef fans. The popular ready-to-eat Beef Pot Roast Au Jus and Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce entrees are being rebranded to fall under the new Laura’s Kitchen product line. The prepared entrees are quick and easy to serve and are excellent sources of protein with lower fat and sodium counts than most other prepared foods.
With the launch of Laura’s Kitchen, Laura’s Lean Beef has created a new website, www.lauras-kitchen.com as an informational resource. Laura’s Kitchen is currently rolling out in select supermarkets.
