Califia Farms Brings the Single Serve Buzz to Expo West

At Expo West 2014, Califia Farms’ booth will showcase the company’s latest innovation in single serve offerings of its Iced Coffee with Almondmilk. The new dairy-free and soy-free Cold Brewed Iced Coffee 10.5-ounce single serve line comes in three flavors: Salted Caramel, XX Espresso, and Cocoa Noir. “Until our Iced Coffees came along, a great-tasting non-dairy ready-to-drink Iced Coffee didn’t exist,” says Greg Steltenpohl, CEO of Califia Farms. “We spent a lot of time perfecting these new flavors to bring even more excitement to the line. These richer flavor notes are perfectly balanced with our lighter Almondmilk profile. Our basic tenet here at Califia is that non-dairy drinkers shouldn’t have to compromise. Many big coffee chains have been slow to jump on the almond milk train so we had to take matters into our own hands and make a better-tasting solution available for on-the-go energy.” Aided by itspackage that communicates the premium qualities of the product, the combination of Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee and Califia’s new flavors in darker chocolate and salted caramel aim to make this product line a standout, company officials add. The single serve products display the Non-GMO Project Verified seal on their PET, BPA-FREE bottle. Like their multi-serve versions, the new Iced Coffees are dairy-free, soy-free, lactose-free and gluten-free. Califia Farms Almondmilk is made from whole blanched (not roasted) California almonds, resulting in an authentic dairy taste to compliment to the less acidic cold brewed coffee, officials say. The Iced Coffees retail at $2.49 per 10.5-ounce bottle.
