Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business (HSB) is expanding its reach and deepening its impact with the launch of an online delivery option for its executive MBA in food marketing. With online classes beginning this fall, the MBA is designed to prepare food industry professionals for senior management by providing in-depth expertise across areas such as finance, strategy, global marketing, sales, retailing, logistics, foodservice, technology, and leadership.
“When you work in the food industry, it can feel like you’re always on-the-move,” says graduate food marketing director Bryant Wynes. “The online class delivery method is designed so it’s as mobile as our students. Whether you’re in Chicago or Philadelphia, if you’re on the road working with clients regionally or nationally, you can earn a food marketing MBA degree from Saint Joseph’s University in as little as two years.”
For the past 25 years, the Haub School has offered its food marketing MBA. Excluding foundation courses, the MBA follows a 36-credit, 18-course curriculum. Three residencies are required for students participating in online classes.
“The addition of this online program provides HSB with the power to communicate and engage with food industry partners from all over the world,” says Stephen Porth, Ph.D. ’80, associate dean and executive director of graduate programs. “The executive experience — whether on campus or online — offers professionals a collaborative and energetic environment.”
Enrollment is open for the online executive MBA in food marketing with classes beginning fall 2014. Current and prospective students have the option of enrolling in both online or on campus formats.
